What is a squirting orgasm
A squirting orgasm (from the English squirting - "to spray, to hit with a stream") is a female type of orgasm, which is accompanied by the release of fluid from the urethra. It is called a squirt, and sometimes female ejaculate. Recently, scientists are inclined to believe that a squirting orgasm and female ejaculation are different phenomena, although similar in some parameters. Moreover, squirting does not necessarily coincide with an orgasm.

What is the difference between squirting and female ejaculation
Both squirting and female ejaculation are caused by sexual stimulation, often occur with orgasm and are accompanied by a feeling of pleasure. However, the volume, composition and origin of the fluids differ.

During a squirting orgasm, 15 to 110 ml of squirt is released from the urethra, an average of about 60 ml. This colorless or slightly yellowish liquid is released from the bladder, contains water, urea and creatinine, and resembles highly diluted urine.

During female ejaculation, the fluid is released from the Skene's glands, the so-called "female prostate". These anatomical structures, located at the lower end of the urethra, can produce a cocktail of prostate-specific antigen and acid phosphatase, glucose and fructose. The composition is similar to male ejaculate, only without sperm.

Female ejaculate is more viscous than squirt and can have a whitish tint, and its amount varies from 3 to 50 ml, but usually no more than a tablespoon. Unlike squirting, which releases a lot of fluid, female ejaculation can easily be confused with an increased amount of vaginal lubrication. At the same time, squirt also contains female ejaculate, it’s just less of it.

At the same time, not all women have Skene’s glands. In one study, scientists found them in half of the participants, in another - in six out of seven women. And it is unclear whether it is necessary to have Skene’s glands for squirting to occur.

Can all women experience a squirting orgasm?

Not a fact. Squirting studies give conflicting results. In a 2023 scientific paper, scientists analyzed data from 3,000 American women and found that 41% of participants had ever experienced a squirting orgasm. At the same time, about 60% of women called squirting a pleasant experience.

Interestingly, about half of those who had ever experienced it said that squirting did not coincide with the peak of sexual pleasure. Only 20% of women always ejected fluid from the urethra during orgasm.

<Squirting can happen before or after orgasm. And not all women consider it something incredible. Many evaluate squirting as simply a pleasant sensation. Someone, on the contrary, experiences discomfort, as well as a feeling of shame.>

Is it possible to induce a squirting orgasm?

According to the study, 75% of women who experienced a squirting orgasm resorted to certain techniques to induce it. In other words, most do not experience squirting spontaneously, but rather purposefully go for it. However, there is no single technique that would help to induce a squirting orgasm.

In the same survey, everyone named different ways to build up sexual tension for a squirting orgasm: 19% mentioned more intense stimulation, 16.5% - pressure on the front wall of the vagina, 15.6% - only clitoral stimulation, 12% - combined stimulation both from the outside and from the inside. Many did not even remember what happened there to get them so excited.

There is also no surefire way to make this orgasm happen: 40% of respondents said they did not know one specific technique, about 20% used relaxation of the contracted pelvic floor muscles, and 17% used a sharp increase in speed and pressure during stimulation.

It can be concluded that although many women are capable of experiencing squirting, there is no specific recipe for this.

What to try to increase your chances of squirting
There are no guarantees, but there are a few things you can try. Do the following:

  1. Put a towel on your bed. If it works, it will help you avoid washing your sheets.
  2. Pee before sex. Squirting can feel like urination. Emptying your bladder beforehand will help you relax during sex and not worry about accidentally peeing in bed.
  3. Take time for foreplay. Get in the mood for sex, create the right atmosphere, and spend time on foreplay to build up sexual arousal.
  4. Stimulate the front wall of the vagina. It is believed that there is a very sensitive area in this place, touching which can bring a woman to orgasm. It is sometimes called the G-spot, although scientists still do not know for sure whether it exists in all women, where exactly it is located, or what it is from an anatomical point of view.
  5. Relax. When you feel like you want to pee, try to relax your pelvic floor muscles as much as possible. If you're lucky, you'll experience a squirting orgasm soon after. If not, don't be upset.

Remember that any psychological stress during sex can kill all the pleasure from the process. So if you're worried about whether you'll be able to squirt or are sad that nothing is happening, your orgasm is unlikely to be intense.

Maybe you'll never have a squirting orgasm at all, or it will happen when you least expect it. In any case, your sex life is unlikely to suffer much from the fact that there's no wet spot on the sheets after your orgasm.

Is it possible to achieve a squirting orgasm without a partner
It is possible, although it does not happen as often as with a partner. In the study, only 13% of women experienced squirting for the first time during masturbation, while with a partner - more than half.

If you still want to try, consider buying special vibrators with a curved head, designed to stimulate the G-spot. Of course, you can try with your fingers, but this may not be very comfortable.

The G-spot stimulator should be inserted into the vagina and turned so that the tip massages the front wall. Then turn on the vibration. You need to start with slow modes. Move the head of the device up and down, slightly immersing and removing it. At the same time, you can press on the desired area - arousal will increase.

Gradually change the vibrator mode, increasing the speed and pressure. This will increase arousal. If you are lucky, soon there will be a desire to urinate, and then a bright orgasm. Or not particularly bright, but wet.
